Graeme has worked in Children’s residential care for over 30 years, since December 2018 he has worked as a Registered Manager of a variety of children’s homes, helping to open new settings for several companies. He has been involved in most
aspects of setting up the homes including risk assessments, recruiting, referrals & placements and liaising with other agencies to ensure the oversight of the home. He has helped develop and expand the companies with opening a further homes and developing the staff team including new managers to be read to register when he departed. Graeme holds appropriate Level 3 and Level 4 Qualifications as well as a Level 5 in Leadership and Management, he is currently working towards his Level 7 Senior Leadership Qualification
Outside of Egret, Graeme spends most of his time with his family including his disabled brother in law who moved in with his family in October 2024. When the weather is good they like to go for days out and are members of the National Trust,
English Heritage, Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forrest. Graeme also enjoys swimming and watching films.
