Our Story
Out of that realisation came a vision, to create something different. A service built on compassion and understanding, where care doesn’t stop at a birthday and where every young person is met with patience, respect and belief in their potential. That vision became Egret.
Our Story
Out of that realisation came a vision, to create something different. A service built on compassion and understanding, where care doesn’t stop at a birthday and where every young person is met with patience, respect and belief in their potential. That vision became Egret.
From the very beginning, we set out to build a team who shared that purpose, to provide consistent, genuine support through every stage of a young person’s journey. A team of people who are not only skilled in their work but who truly care. The kind of people who listen first, who show up and who make sure every young person feels seen, heard and valued. Together, we’ve created homes that are calm, safe and full of warmth. Places where young people can build confidence, develop life skills and move toward their future with hope.
Egret Care Ltd supports children and young people through their formative years, offering consistency, love and encouragement when it’s needed most. But we know that turning 18 doesn’t mean the journey ends. It’s often when new challenges begin. That’s why we created Egret Homes CIC, ensuring that young adults continue to have guidance and stability as they take their first steps toward independent living. Together, Egret Care and Egret Homes provide a continuous pathway of support, built on trust and genuine care.
At Egret, we believe that growing into independence doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a process of learning, trying, and sometimes falling, but always having someone there to help you back up. Our role is to empower, to guide and to remind each young person that they are capable of more than they might believe.
Egret isn’t just a name. It’s a reflection of our values, Empowerment, Growth, Resilience, Empathy and Togetherness. It’s a reminder that with the right support, every young person can find their wings and move forward in their own time, in their own way.
