Dave is an experienced leader in youth support services, committed to empowering young people as they transition toward independence.
In his role as Director of Egret Homes CIC, Dave leads the strategic development, governance, long-term strategy and overall operational performance of a Community Interest Company supporting young adults aged 18–25. He ensures that the service operates sustainably, meets its social objectives and provides empowering, person-centred support that equips young people for adulthood.
Dave joined Egret Care Ltd on 1 April 2025, bringing with him a strong academic foundation, DipHE, BA in Sociology & Criminology, and an MA in Sociology, alongside a deep commitment to service excellence and youth development.
Dave’s personal goals focus on continual growth, maintaining a healthy work–life balance and pursuing lifelong learning in areas such as trauma-informed practice, leadership and youth development. Professionally, he aims to empower young people, exceed quality standards, lead with purpose and develop motivated and accountable staff teams.His vision is to be a driving force within a values-led organisation that transforms lives by providing inclusive, high-quality support that helps young people thrive.
