Overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of care and support at Burnhays Lodge is our Registered Manager, Claire Hughes. With an impressive background in different aspects of care, including leadership positions, Claire brings a wealth of knowledge to this role. Claire’s career spans over 17 years, during which she has held various positions within the health and social care sectors. Claire has worked in care services for Cheshire East Council and the NHS, prior to working in children’s residential services. She will lead a dedicated team of support workers, fostering a culture that matches

Outside of Egret, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out at the gym and taking her dog Winnie out on many adventures! Claire loves nature and being outdoors and will try to enjoy as many experiences as she can. Claire recently enjoyed an indoor sky dive and the longest and fastest zip lane in the world since 2013!
