Wedgwood Place provides supported accommodation for young adults aged 18–25 who are preparing for independent living. The service offers a balance of privacy and guidance, giving residents their own space while still having access to support when needed. Our team works alongside each young person to help them build confidence, develop practical skills and create a stable foundation for the future.
Our accommodation
Wedgwood Place consists of five self-contained one-bedroom flats, each with its own lounge, kitchen and bathroom. This allows residents to experience independent living while still being part of a supported environment. A shared communal lounge on the ground floor provides a space where residents can spend time together, meet with staff or take part in activities. The flats are fully furnished and designed to feel comfortable and homely.
Our support offer
Support is tailored to the individual and focuses on helping young adults develop the skills needed to manage their own tenancy and daily life. Staff provide guidance with areas such as budgeting, maintaining a home, accessing education or employment and building routines that support wellbeing. Each resident has a personalised housing support plan and regular one-to-one sessions with staff to review progress and set goals.
Who we support
Wedgwood Place is suited to young adults who are ready to take the next step toward independence but would benefit from a level of ongoing support. Many residents may be moving on from care, supported housing or other placements and need a stable environment where they can continue developing the skills required for adult life.
Life in the community
Located in Burslem, Wedgwood Place offers easy access to local shops, services and public transport links to Hanley and surrounding areas. Residents are encouraged to engage with their community, explore education or employment opportunities and take part in activities that help build confidence and independence.
