The Meadows provides a calm, nurturing home for young people aged 0–18 with autism, mild to moderate learning difficulties, mild physical disabilities and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Set in a peaceful cul-de-sac in rural Cheadle, the home offers security, stability and warmth, helping each young person feel understood and supported to reach their full potential.
Our Accommodation
The home is designed to promote both comfort and independence. The Meadows includes four bright bedrooms, spacious communal areas and a dedicated sensory room where young people can relax and explore in a safe environment. There’s also a life skills kitchen to support hands-on learning, helping young people develop practical abilities in a fun and supportive way.
A separate two-bedroom bungalow on site provides space for therapy sessions, short breaks or semi-independent living as young people prepare for their next steps. Outside the main home and the bungalow are two separate, secure gardens for young people to play and enjoy fresh air.
Our support offer
Each young person receives personalised, trauma-informed care shaped around their individual needs, preferences and goals. We focus on promoting communication, emotional regulation and social interaction through structured routines and young person-led activities. Our experienced care team provides consistent support 24 hours a day, building trusting relationships and helping young people grow in confidence and independence.

Life in the community
Young people are encouraged to explore and enjoy their local area, from visits to nearby parks and leisure facilities to community events and activities. Cheadle offers access to inclusive spaces such as Tean Valley Meadow, Cheadle Leisure Centre and the Foxfield Railway, giving opportunities to build confidence, friendships and independence at a pace that suits each individual.
