Market Place offers a safe, comfortable environment for young adults aged 18–25 who are taking their next steps toward independence. Whether staying short or long term, residents are supported to develop the confidence, skills and stability they need to move forward at their own pace. Our team are on hand day and night to listen and provide guidance whenever it is needed.
Our accommodation
This fully furnished shared home includes nine en-suite bedrooms a spacious, communal, open plan lounge and kitchen and a separate shared laundry room. There’s also a garden for relaxing outdoors. Each room can be personalised to feel like home and the whole space has been designed with comfort in mind.
Our support offer
Support at Market Place is person-centred, designed around each individual’s needs. We focus on building life skills, confidence and independence through practical and emotional support. This includes help with budgeting, maintaining a tenancy, education or employment opportunities and learning how to manage daily living. Every young adult has a personalised housing support plan and regular key sessions with our team to track progress and celebrate successes.
Who we support
Market Place supports young adults aged 18-25 who are ready to take positive steps toward living independently but still benefit from some structured guidance. We work with residents who may have previously lived in care, supported housing or semi-independent accommodation, offering stability, encouragement and a consistent support network.
Life in the community
Situated in Burslem, Market Place is close to shops, cafés, parks and essential services. Young adults can easily access public transport links to Hanley town centre and beyond. We encourage involvement in community life from education and volunteering to social and leisure activities.
